Hey guys just happy my first brew finished up all good, I tasted it while bottling and tasted like I wanted it too, a newcastle that was warm and flat, I had others try it too and they said it was pretty good. So the reason I started this thread is to hear some stories of first brews either horror stories or surprisingly good haha. Thanks y'all.

Surprisingly good is always best.

I would suspect that good is a lot more prevalent than horror since if everything goes well there is no "is my beer ruined?" post.

Welcome and congrats on your so far, great beer. Now, let the beers bottle condition at about 70 degrees for at least 2 weeks, 3 is more likely, then chill and try one. If they aren't ready, wait another week.

Thanks man, it kinda tastes like a mix between newcastle with the smell of guinness.
