Just finished my first biab, everything went well. I ended up with 20.5L instead of the 23L.
SG of 1.042 should I add water or let it go?

OG, FG, SG, Pre-boil, post boil, Final gravity, Original gravity, Starting gravity . . . These terms get thrown around and can be confusing at first. Some are synonymous.

The gravity after boil is original gravity (OG) and what we need to know here. That and FG, gravity after fermentation is done tell us a lot about what a beer will be like. Starting Gravity I think of as the same as Original Gravity

What was your OG (after boil)?
