FG always lower than what BeerSmith says it should be...

beer brewing programs seem to lean towards higher FG's, probably assuming fermentation problems and/or low pitch rates. I have ALWAYS been below what BrewersFriend says it'll finish. Even with custom attentuation rates and pitch rates, always assumes you'll be a wee bit higher.
 
Does this apply to all styles that you brew? Do you trust your thermometer? That's typically the first thing I check if I'm not hitting my expected/predicted numbers.
 
Beersmith doesn't give FG numbers you can/should be shooting for. It's just an estimate based off (generally) incomplete information. Suitable only to ignore.

If you want your FG to be higher, adjust your recipes. If not, carry on.
