This thing looks like a really big improvement on the past models.

$600 is a much lower starting price than an SS brewtech unitank ($950). The ss brewtech one has more stuff standard, and the prices seem similar when similarly equipped, but it is nice to have the option to get started at lower price and then add extras later.
Also the blichmann has the optional external level gauge for $35 which I’d love to have since I never open the fermentor lid when there’s beer in there.
I can’t tell if the valve is butterfly or ball valve. Would definitely prefer butterfly since it just seems more sanitary and easy to clean. Not seeing a link to a manual yet, but it looks like a really solid option.
I have a ss brewtech conical bme currently, but if this was available at the time I would have gotten it instead just to have the ability to pressurize high enough to filter between the fermentor and the keg.
