Just switched my Barolo to the secondary (with a lot of technical issues, but that's another story). I aerated well, maybe too well. I had a lot of bubbles created from the transfer, enough to overflow from the top of my carboy. When I placed my FL on, which is filled with vodka, a bit of the blowoff got in to the lock. The levels are fine including in the carboy, but now the lock has a milky, purple look to it. My question is this, leave it (I'm not sure I see anything wrong with it), or switch out the FL?
