Extract manufacturers should really redesign the packaging of their products. It has always been a pain doing a recipe that calls for less than 1 lb increments of certain extracts. Also with the popularization of doing yeast starters more frequently and only needing a small amount of extract for a starter it would be nice to have a container that is resealable.
 
That would mean higher prices!

I agree it would be cool to have a "peanut butter style" jar that you can screw back on but then again, why don't you just buy a jumbo peanut butter jar or a large mason style jar and reseal your own extract?
 
Briess LME comes in screw lid bottles. My suggestion is to Use 1 jug of LME and the rest of it in DME. DME stores much easier...
