so after searching for a while, i couldnt really find what i was looking for on this topic, so i decided to do it myself and post up pictures. i wanted to mount my co2 tank on the outside of my kegerator so my pressure gauge would read more correctly (if that is even a term). so i began by taking a trip to my local lowes to get supplies.
this is what i got:

of course i already had the drill. i then hooked up a 1/4" drill bit to enlarge the holes in the green bracket. it is actually a swing set upright bracket for wooden swing sets.

put the 1/4" 2.5" long bolts in to check the fit:

showing the purpose of the bracket, to support the bottom of the tank:

holes marked on the side of the fridge, only 6 holes for the mounting "system" i made:

bottom mount secured:

upper mounts secured with a rectangular plate and 2 ring clamps:

i am thinking about bending the points of the bottom mount up to make the bottom more secure, but i dont have a vice to put it in right now to try bending it. the bottom plate is pretty stout, so im not sure how successful that endeavor would be. lol and i checked to see how secure the tank is when its mounted and its not going anywhere! now i just need to drill holes through the side of the fridge for the co2 lines, but im a little under the weather right now. all the parts for the project only cost about $22! you could probably cut down the cost by substituting a cheaper bottom bracket, but when i saw that one it made perfect sense to me. hope this helps anyone who was struggling for an idea like i was. if you have a system of your own to mount your tank on the side of your fridge, i would love to see pics.
