Setting up a basement brewery area.
Due to a recent home project, we added a new dryer exhaust and the old one is now just sitting there unused, so I was going to use that for my exhaust hood.
The problem is that it's located about 15-20 feet from my brew area.
My plan was just to install an ActiveAir 6" in-line fan and 6" duct pipe, reducing down to the 4" dryer duct as close to the exterior vent as possible.
I was thinking that the fan should be as close to the exterior vent as possible, pulling air thru the hood and ductwork.
Or would it be better to have the fan closer to the hood and pushing air thru the ductwork and out to the vent?
thanks for any feed back
