So I've done my first all grain batch for a robust vanilla porter. I want to do a basic pilsner but I don't really know the best way to lager it as I don't have a good place to maintain the proper temps for an extended period of time. Any suggestions or recipes that don't require lagering?

If you're just looking for a lighter taste and feel I would suggest and Altbier or a blonde. Those would use a standard US-05 and room temperature fermenting.

For those without a lagering chamber (like me) I use this time of year as an advantage. The high/low around here is around 55/30 so outside or in the garage in an ice bucket or patio (or both) seems to do the trick.
