I found this battery operated "Necklace Fan " at WalMart and immediately thought it would be worth a try to use as a tower cooling fan

I duct taped a short length of tube from a pump for pool toys to it, then stuffed the other end up the tower. Done!

It works! The shank and faucet are cold. Not bad for 5 dollars and 5 minutes of work. I will be running beer through it next week and will update.

I plan on upgrading the tube to something larger eventually, and also putting in rechargeable batteries.

Update 1:

The batteries lasted 15 hours while constant on. This is definitely only a short term solution for somebody like me who does not need a cold tower 7 days/ week.
