dry hop ball question

I bought a mesh tea ball to dry hop a Sierra nevada clone in the keg. My question is whether or not its ok that it is chrome plated brass? I hadnt thought of it until now and I am about to transfer the beer into the keg.

It'd probably be ok. I'd keep an eye on it and at the first sign of shedding chrome I'd toss it.

fwiw, I use nylon hop bags with whole cones in my serving kegs, weighted down with larger/heavier items from the wife's silverware drawer
