I can't help it I always drink the hydrometer samples of what ever I am brewing, and I always feel bloated and sick afterwards, every single time. I believe that the active yeast is fermenting what ever sugars it can find in my stomach.

Now I know what my primary feels like. My airlock is giving off some funky smells. Is that normal?

I drink the OG sample before pitching the yeast. I don't take another sample for two to three weeks. No active yeast, no problems.

I'm doing a skeeter pee and needed to know when it hit 1.050 to add more nutrients and the rest of the lemon juice. So samples had to be taken. Because of that I now feel like a fermenter.

Side note it doesn't seem to matter where I go someone from Medford, WI is always there.
