Hi,
I am curious if any of you that use a brewmagic type system do double batches.
I find it difficult to remove all the hot grain completely to start the 2nd batch behind it. anyone have any advice on how to smoothly run back to back batches? I would like to make maybe 30 to 40 gallons at a time using this equipment but being an amateur I am sure I am missing something here... Thanks in advance.

I use a shop vac to clean out the MLT and heat strike water while removing the draff and while the kettle is coming to boil. The few time I have done back to backs, the HLT was to strike just in time as the boil began.

@Chayes,

I also want to brew 2-3 batches per day on a Brew Magic and looking for tips how to get it cleaned and back up fast for the next batch.

How did it go with your method? Can you provide any details of what I should be doing or what equipment I should keep on hand to get it done?

Thanks,
