Ok ok.. Stupid to even try as the volume on a 72g tank is not enough to charge dead space and push. But figured what the he// since I wanted to get my Hefeweizen in the keg. About half way through the transfer started hearing a popping, then frost appearing on the reg, then the gauge going out of control as the frost built up and beat the crap out of the gauge internals. Thank god there is a good reg on the Flex Plus that kept reading my 3psi even though the mini's fritz was at 25 lol.... Lesson learned.... Pretty sure it's toast. That will be fixed next time since I ordered another 5 pound tank and regulator. Easier for a spare then to try to take out my kegerator system to use. Never a dull day in homebrew world..
