I did a recipe, it was pretty good. So I'm doing it again, but it has 6oz torrified wheat. The beer looks hazy to me, and I can taste a tiny bit of that "wheat beer-ness." I'm very sensitive.

So I think I should skip the TW, but what should I add instead? I have a bunch of maltodextrin, will that work? Or some DME?

Cheers :mug:

If this is an extract batch, more DME, or maybe a little carapils. Torrified wheat needs to be mashed, its really only suitable for all grain or large, long minimashes.

6oz? I wouldn't sweat it. That's such a small amount (if your doing at least 5 gallons), that I would not worry about it. Just leave it out. Taste/ABV wise......I doubt you would notice.
