Hi everyone,

So I plan on brewing a 10gallon batch or straight lambic and splitting it into 2 different batches. One fruit and one straight lambic beer.

Now I came up with a simple recipe.on beersmith but just wanted to throw it out there and see if it sounds right.

12# of 2-row
6.5# of wey wheat

Im aiming for a gravity of 1.050 og

Let me know if my grain amounts sound correct for the gravity.

Thank you

Dan

I have aged hops but how much and boil time should I do?

75% efficiency calculator

Estimated Pre Boil OG: 13 Gal
1.04
Estimated Original Gravity: 10 gal Post boil
1.052
Estimated Final Gravity: Post fermentation
1.015
Estimated Alcohol By Volume:
4.9%

If you cannot obtain 75% efficiency you may want to add a bit of extra grain.

About 6-7 oz of aged hops (assuming they started as low AA%) should be about right for 10 gallons.
