Is there a difference? I'd think it was just a hef that was filtered.
I've only had the style once or twice, I did think that it was a bit more pilsner like than weizen like. I just chalked that up to the lack of yeast in suspension in the past.
It's just a filtered Hefe Weizen. Rack it to a secondary for about 1 week and it'll get pretty clear. You can filter it after that to make it even more clear.
