I had an idea on creating a hand pump pin lock beer line cleaner. I have a few of these sitting around

https://www.amazon.com/Pin-lock-Dis...prefix=pin+lock+fi,aps,238&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1
My thinking was to use something like this

https://www.amazon.com/Chapin-Inter...1667827718&sprefix=hand+pump+s,aps,125&sr=8-5
Remove the wand so I'm working with the hose only. Then insert one of the hose barbs from the chrome metal nut pieces into the black hose. From there I was thinking about getting a male to male coupler like this

https://www.amazon.com/TANYA-HARDWA...+inch+to+1/4+inch+npt+coupler,aps,146&sr=8-19
Then using that to tie the pump sprayer and beer line together. My question is would it work and if so am I looking at the right coupler? Has anyone else built something like this for Pin Lock before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

+1 for what @rtstrider said. I built that sprayer years ago to clean my lines. I dont do pin locks but I think its only a difference in the fitting you screw onto the sprayer. That little device has been great.

What solution do you use? I use PBW but wanted to use an alkaline cleaner every once in awhile too. Five Star LLC says it needs to be recirculated for at least 5 min

I use PBW.. nothing fancy. I tend to flush the lines then let them sit with the cleaner inside and repeat if there is any need.. I will shoot some Starsan through the lines before use.
