DIPA 5.5 gal batch
Mash @150
14# Pale Ale Malt
1# Munich
1# Carapils
8oz Carastan
1# Dextrose

1oz Columbus @90
1oz each Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook @15, flameout, and dry hop

I'm going for strong, dry, and a mix of fruity with dank pine.

Hopville has IBUS ~111 OG ~1.085
Throwing this onto a big yeast cake of us-05

Seems pretty straightforward as I'm trying to brew to style and I'll probably enter this into a competition. I was at first worried there were too many hops, but after perusing through some threads this seems pretty typical for a DIPA. Any suggestions are welcome. I've thought about adding some non-american hops in there as well, I have EKG, Fuggle, Saaz, Northern Brewer, and few others in the freezer.

Looks worthy of brewing to me. I wouldn't add any more hops varietys though. I try to limit my IPAs to 3 varieties of hops for flavor/aroma. Citra, Simcoe, Cent is a great combo as is Simcoe, cent, chinook.
