Has anyone ever used this as a yeast nutrient? It it worthwhile. Will it help to get your stater going faster?

I used it, but I'm not sure if it makes the starter go faster. There are just to many other variables (e.g viability of the yeast) that affect this for me.

I read that article on BYO about culturing from bottles and he said not to use it for that, and to use real yeast nutrient instead. Even the name of it keeps me from wanting to put in my beer.;)

I only use it when I decant the starter liquid and pitch only the yeast sediment. But yes, I also picked up the yeast nutrient (which probably has DP in it as well :)) to use with my next starters.
