I figured I would put this out here to folks with beer-drinking experience in Colorado.
In three weeks I am going with SWMBO to Denver for a week. We are staying near Antique Row (closest bar seems to be Gramma's House) and plan on doing a day driving around Colorado Springs to visit a friend and likely pick a day to go up to Boulder or FoCo. We are also hitting up Red Rocks for a show like predictable tourists.
I know that Colorado has a huge amount of breweries and cool beer bars both in Denver and around the areas we are going to. Any recommendations would be great. I am visiting a cousin who will show us around a bit but I am open to trying off-the-beaten path spots and old mainstays. We mainly prefer sour and mixed ferm beers and I know the area also has a huge amount of big names in this category. I have looked up on some breweries but for stuff like this I prefer first-hand accounts from people who appreciate good beer as opposed to non-sense gen-pop yelpers. I am prepared to be overwhelmed but lay it on me!
