I am interested in making a Delirium Tremens clone. There is no shortage of advice and recipes online, but most of these call for spice additions similar to a Wit. I don't think spices need to be added to a clone of this beer. Any other opinions or suggestions?

I doubt the real deal has spices, but the brewery has a very good handle on their yeast on how to coax out those spicy characteristics. Even if you get a 100% accurate clone, chances are the yeast character will be notably different

I have brewed two clones by Tess and Mark Szamatulski, both Belgian (Val-Dieu Triple and Bush de Noel), both without spices. In "Beer Captured" they have 1/4 tsp Grains of Paradise in their Delirium Tremens clone.
