Daylily wine?

Anyone here ever make day lily wine? What weight (preferable) or volume of petals did you use per gallon? I believe that Jack Keller has a recipe that calls for 2.5 quarts of petals (if memory serves) but I generally find that his recipes are too favor thin for me.
 
My brain told me your title said daily wine. Let me know how this turns out if you do it.

Aha... Sounds like too much "daily wine"... :yes:
But, happy to update with results, if I can get enough petals from our bed of day-lilies. My plan is to make this into a day-lily mead, but I have no idea the flavor notes of the flower, though a few years ago a friend and I sauted some and they were quite delicious.
 
From what I saw when I looked them up the flavor is somewhere between asparagus and I think it said snap peas. I know it was some type of peas
