What is the concerns about brewing beer and Brewing wine in the same room? Take for instance I just pop the lid off of my beer bucket to dry hop and then closed the lid. And then a day later I pop a lid off of a bucket of mead to D gas. I have heard people say do not brew beer and wine in the same room because it will make them both go bad. Is this old wives tale or is this fact

I have several fermenters near each other. The only things I try to keep separate are komubucha and sauerkraut and cheese, which use different microbes than wine and beer and I want to avoid cross-contamination. Keeping them four feet away is probably good practice, but I think my wine and beer carboys have been closer than that often.
