omg i have found so many just having trouble thinking of them

counter edges
brick edges
lighters
needle nose pliers (mainly just because i was to lazy to walk across teh room to get a bottle opener)
closed back side of knife
school book
spoon
and many more.. (sad day when you lose or miss place/dont have a bottle opener)

flip a bike upside down, start pedaling, and stick the bottle in the spokes. cap pops right off. don't do this with a newer road bike though. I used my 1980s dawes which weighs about two thousand pounds compared to anything with an aluminum (I prefer aluminium) frame.

oh....and my reefs....they have bottle openers on the bottom, so as long as its warm outside, i don't have this problem

My usual go to bottle opener is my US Air Force Academy class ring. Really its the only value I can find out of the damn thing. The first time I went to use my wedding band in the same way I got enough daggers in the look from SWMBO to pin me against the wall.

Reliable backups...
Climbing carabiner
Climbing nut tool
Parachute 3 ring (the system that allows a bad main chute to release)
Hook Knife
Edge of wallet
