Is it ok to start a first fermentation with an O.G. of 1.060 for a cream stout (sweet stout)? The recipe says 1.050, but I already have the 5 gallons ready.
Part grain, part malt extract! Anyway, we added a little bit more water (1/4 gal) and the s.g. reduced to 1.057! Let's see what happens in some days!! thanks!
