Cranberry Juice Concentrate

Howdy Folks! I brewed up a 5 gallon batch from a recipe I found on the AHA website. www.homebrewtalk.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=12


The recipe calls for 1 can of cranberry juice concentrate added to secondary. It's pretty vague measurement so I wanted to check in and see if anyone has used juice concentrate in their brews and at what amount was it used. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just to follow up in case anyone has the same question. I went with the cranberry juice extract from vitamin shoppe and had great results.

I used 12 oz in the secondary, let it sit for 2 weeks then kegged. It's a nice way to get tartness in your beer w/out the wait.

just realized I posted the wrong like to the recipe in the original post, recipe is below

6 lbs (2.7 kg) | Malted Wheat
3.5 lbs (1.6 kg) | Pilsener Malt
1.0 oz (28 g) | Hallertau hops, 2.8% alpha acid (60 minutes)
0.25 oz (7 g) | Hallertau hops, 2.8% alpha acid (15 minutes)
0.5 oz | orange peel (5 minutes)
12oz cranberry juice concentrate added to secondary
Wyeast No. 3056 Bavarian Wheat ale yeast
