i have a feeling i'll get a few negative responses. I bought a coopers canadian blonde extract. In the instructions it called for enhancer 1. I didn't have it, or any way to get it, and i unfortunately do not have malt extract on hand, as this is my first real batch. What i decided to do, because the gravity was below 130, was added 500g of corn syrup and the rest in table sugar to bring it up to 130.
I think this was alright, I have done alot of reading. I just hope it will turn out alright.

You should be fine. It may dry out a bit more than you expected, but... In the end it will still be beer and you can chalk it up as a learning experience!

lesson learned. I'm going to stock up on malt extracts for the future. Ingredients aren't the easiest to come by where I am, without driving an hour.
