recipe calls for:

3.3 Lbs Extra Light LME
3.3 Lbs Wheat LME
1 Lbs Wheat DME

from what i understand i multiply 3.3 x .8 = 2.64 Lbs of DME

would make the recipe:

2.64 Lbs Extra Light DME
3.64 Lbs Wheat DME

am i doing this correctly? thanks in advance.

i was informed it goes 10 lb's of grain to 8 lb's of LME to 6 lb's of DME.

So i multiply by .75 to go from LME TO DME

looks good to me.

Liquid to dry: amount liquid x 0.8 = amount dry
Dry to liquid: amount dry x 1.25 = amount liquid

Just remember since there's still a significant part water in LME, so its got less malt/weight than dry malt extract.

You had it right.
