I am converting an older fake wood paneled Sanyo mini fridge. I am preparing to bend the freezer compartment down to make room for the keg. There are two coolant lines running to the freezer. One is flexible the other appears to be aluminum and rigid. I am worried the aluminum line will snap when I bend it. Does any one have any personal experience with this?

I will be posting a picture shortly. I would appreciate any advice Thanks!

This is a picture of the lines I am referring to.

I have a fridge I believe to be very much like the one you're working with.

How'd things turn out?

It turned out really good. I let the fridge warm up to room temperature then the coolant line bent pretty easily.

Here are some pics of the final build

Hi Res.jpg

I bent one of these and it was fine.

However i went back and tried to bend it a little bit more and it sprung a leak very fast and ruined the fridge. So be careful. It can easily get a pinhole and leak out on you.
