Good news for some friends. One of their neighbors is a CSPD officer and he was able to slip out to the neighborhood. He reports their homes are intact light scorching on the landscaping but standing.

That is great news for them! Thankfully still no reports of any injuries and they are making some well needed progress on the fire!
That fire destroyed my favorite fishing spot. I hope I can get in there again one day, hopefully on foot.
Thankfully my friends and family are all doing fine so far, but I feel so bad for all of those who have been affected by these fires.

I do believe that is. Sorry to hear about your fishing spot at least the fish were able to stay cool
. It sure is going to be a long time recovering for the people affected. It looks like the people in the Rockrimmon area are going to get to go home. and be on pre-evacuation orders. at least they have a home to go back to even if it is full of smoke. The insurance for the affected is going to get a lot of bills really soon...
