I am in the process of my first cold crash of a Lagunitas IPA clone.
Once finished should I return the carboy to room temp before bottling?
Or will that release some of the 'gunk' back into the beer?
I am just thinking that as the volume reduces during freezing, it must expand when the temperature rises.
So bottling at that temp (36f) might help to produce bottle bombs.
Or am I overthinking it.
