CO2 Tubing

Can anyone recommend a good place i.e. affordable and place to buy 1/4” inner diameter 1/2” outer diameter CO2 tubing?

If you can find a local place -- big-box hardware (e.g. Home Depot), hardware, aquarium supply -- that has what you want, that's probably the way to get the best price. If it were me, I'd think it was too much of a hassle to go price-shopping, and just order what I wanted from McMaster-Carr and eat the shipping. My best estimate is that when everything's said and done, you're going to be paying ~$1/foot.

What do you need thick-walled 1/4" ID gas tubing for?
There are better options, such as EVA Barrier tubing, which is virtually oxygen impermeable.

Isn’t it a pain to get EVA onto hose barbs? If you’ve already got regulators or something with hose barbs, vinyl tubing with gas lines makes perfect sense. If you’re planning something from scratch, EVA is easy to use, reasonably priced, and it can’t hurt to be less gas-permeable.

I've slipped 4mm ID EVABarrier over 1/4" barbs and 5mm ID over 3/8" barbs (thanks, Micromatic!). With a swaging tool (or equivalent) and judiciously applied heat it's not a big deal...

There's also the 9mm OD EVA tubing as well. Its ID is 6.5mm (.2559"). I use that for my transfer lines.
