CO2 Fill Stations in CT?

Anyone in the CT area know of a place to fill my C02 tank... I know sports authority does Co2 paintball tanks but im sure the adaptors are different and that wont work, Any thoughts or places to go would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

I'm not in CT but I had to go to a place that does fire extinguishing systems to get my CO2 filled. The CO2 is all the same stuff. I was concerned that there was a 'food grade' CO2 but the guy at this place who was very knowledgeable and friendly ensured me that this was not the case as he fills bottles for others who use it in food / drink useage. This guy also does nitrogen so he is now researching a beer gas mixture for me!

I am not in the CT area but try looking for welding supply in your phone book. I only pay 18$ to fill my 20# tank at the welding shop.

That said, those are my go-to guys... Get my 5lb filled there, and I have a 15lb rental from them that's worked out great!

I use these guys too. Very quick with reasonable prices. Plus they don't exchange tanks. They fill the tank you bring in.

Hi, we actually do tanks swaps, if they are our tanks. Our tank deposit is $85.00 and then you can come whenever you need to and swap out the tank and just pay the fill amount for the size you have. Oh, and no $85 deposit at Drinx like Nobby. No swap. Just bring in your tank and Drinx will fill it for you and give back YOUR tank.

For the record, Nobby does fill your tank for you too (how I get my 5lb filled), but you do have to drop it off most of the time and pick up a couple days later. Guess they only fill a couple times a week.

The nice thing there though is if you have one of their rentals, it's not on you to recertify the cylinder when the time comes...
