Just kegged for the first time this morning. Had 700 psi when I started, at roughly 11 am cst. It's now 4 pm and it's down to 500 psi.

I imagine the pressure drop can be attributed to being in a 38 degree keezer after being at roughly 68 degrees. Can anyone confirm and set my mind at ease??

Note: trying to get this keg ready by early afternoon tomorrow, so I have the pressure set at 30. Will blow off and set to 10-12 after about 24 hours.

Happy new year!

Yes, the pressure in the tank will drop when you cool it.
