Hello all,
Since I am totally clueless about brewing, I have depended on you all for advice to help guide my purchases.

For Christmas, i am getting SIL gifts that allow him to both switch to all grain brewing and increase taps from one to 3. Have purchased everything I think he needs for brewing (igloo mash tun and lauter, 16 gallon stainless kettle w/thermometer and valve, speidel fermenter). Am I correct about that?

To increase taps, I bought a new tower with 3 faucets. I think the only other things I need to get are 1) a manifold (?) that splits the co2 line into three parts and (2) about 20’ of gas line hose with 8 clamps, right? I also need to make sure all 3 valves have shut off, correct?

Ebay seems to have the best prices, saving me at least $20 by buying components separate.

I have found two on ebay with good prices. One is a taprite and the other is a kegco, both around $31-32 with shipping. Is that the best price for those?

Does anyone have an opinion as to which is better?

Also, I am looking for gas hose and clamps. I found 20’ red hose 5/16 diameter with 8 clamps on ebay.

Any thoughts on that?

I don’t know whether he has ball locks or pin locks so I thought I would leave that part up to
him.

Thanks so much for all your help and advice, couldn’t have done it without you! :)

Would you be my adopted MIL? ;). I saw manifolds ar a great price a few days ago. More beer, brewrite, or Adventures in brewing sites. Typically there should have individual shutoffs and a check valve to prevent liquid flowing into the gas lines. I think that is pretty standard, and good to know. As far as the rest of the items, maybe someone else can jump in.

I'm in the process of getting my components for my keezer. I purchased most of my items from Ritebrew, Kegconnection and Adventures in brewing. here's the links:

A for clamps, get Oetiker clamps for the specific size hose. All three above sell them. You will need a specific tool to close the clamps but they are about $10 or less.

I would email or call whichever company you go with and ask them to put a parts list together for you. I emailed them and it took about an hour to get a reply but they were all very helpful in putting a list together for me.
Your SIL is lucky to have you. My MIL would never do that for me LOL.

BTW, use oetiker clamps instead of the screw type clamps the hose comes with. I think Ritebrew is cheaper on the hose and the clamps are about .25 each. But you need to factor in the tool for these clamps which add to the overall cost.
I went with these as I didn't want any gas leaks.
