If the food is good and the beer is good enough, they can survive on the in house business. However, I agree whole heartedly on the distribution bubble idea. Retailers only have so much shelf space. Production breweries who chase pennies harder than pour houses, can have a tougher go of it.

Great lakes is a fun trip. Good eats, good beer. I always enjoy the small batch, in house only stuff when I get up there.
