I'm in the middle of a kegerator "refit"... I'm replacing all plastic and rubber parts, cleaning and sanitizing all metal parts and replacing all my beer lines. I clean the lines often, but running solution through them doesn't always get the job done.
Here's my question (maybe some aspiring chemist will be able to hit this one out the park): I use keg post lube on my ball lock fittings. I need something that will dissolve the keg lube, without damaging the plastic fittings. Any ideas?
Also, anyone know if plastic ball lock fittings will stand up to boiling temps?
