Hey guys I'm going to be making a skeeter pee for a freinds wedding the recipe calls to be clarified with sparkolloid.

I could not find any locally so I picked up white labs clarity ferm. I have never used either before and was looking on some input.

Will it acomplish the same thing should I add it with yeast per the instructions
Or add it at the same point as the sparkolliod in the recipe.

Thanks in advance for the input cheers.

pitch it into primary, it's an enzyme that'll munch up the stuff that produces chill haze, it needs some time to work.

from what i've seen, you will most likely get a clearer beer fining with gelatin though.

edit: i just looked up skeeter pee :)
not sure if clarity ferm will work in that.

Thanks for your input that's why I just posted here cause I dident know if it would work I might just order the spark and save the vial of clarity ferm for a beer.

Do you mean that you still use gelitan with the clarity ferm or in place of

I just ordered an oz of the sparkolliod and will save the other for a beer I don't want to take any chances since this is for a crowd at a wedding is rather not experiment on it and have a bad or cloudy batch.
