Going to rack from secondary to keg this weekend. Really want to clarify my beer. Just give it a crisp clean look. Any good ideas I can try to clarify once in the keg?
The usual COLD conditioning. While gelatin works well and speeds the process, I have found that time and cold temps will clear most beers pretty darn well. Gelatin will speed the process if your in a hurry.
If you have room, put your secondary in your frig or keezer now to cold crash. The beer will be clearer before you rack it into the keg. Then sitting in the cold inside the keg will clear it that much more.
I always naturally carb/condition for 3 weeks, then jumper to a new keg without moving from where it was carb/conditioning. Very easy and once chilled has very little sediment.
