Alright guys if I stated brewing now would it be ready for Xmas or new year

Christmas Lager??????

Lagers have their place, but not around a roaring fireplace.............

(YES IMHO you lager loving fruit loops!!!!!;))

I just brewed a christmas ale this weekend. If it's ready in time, it will probably still be a bit green. But it might still taste good all winter.

Lager or larger?

Either way you're pretty short on time :D

There was an article in Zymurgy this issue on making beers around 5-10 days from grain to glass. It had alot of tips on cutting time, may need to start by looking at some of that.

6 lbs pale DME
1lb crystal80L
4 oz chocolate malt
4 oz roasted

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 oz fuggles 60 min.

WL irish ale yeast.

There is plenty of time to brew an ale for Christmas. It is not uncommon for me to have a beer ready in 4 weeks.

Nice recipe dork, but what if he brews AG????

Then I figure he can calculate the 9-10 lbs of 2 row to replace the DME, you self copulating piece of fish turd!!!!!

Is the cinnamon boiled???? in secondary????? up your butt?????

I prefer whole cionnamon, not powder.
