I have a robust chocolate porter that just finished in the primary. I am going to 4 lbs of frozen tart cherries to the secondary. Wondering if I can assume the frozen cherries are already sanitized or use other methods? I've heard of some people soaking in cheap vodka for example.
 
Should be fine. Freezing kills most bugs (and wild yeast), and if any survive, the alcohol should take care of them.
