10 lb marris otter
3 lb pale wheat
2 oz cluster 60, 10, ko. About 25 ibu total
1272 wyeast

1oz cluster 3oz orange peel, 2 oz light oak
In a hop bag
 
Uhhh thats a new one for me ;)

How long you leaving that oak in? just the boil? secondary? Gotta be careful with oak.
 
I added oak cause it seems to smooth out the flavors. Im not looking for the wood flavors as much, if so i would have went with medium toast or more
 
So your putting them in the boil? Ive only used in the secondary used 2oz of medium and it took a long time to smoothen out (like 6 months using up precious bottles).

When I looked into oaking I found time and time again that boiling was a bad idea due to it releasing bitter tannins. I thought people only every used in the secondary for 1-2 weeks.

But, no idea on the style of beer huh. wittyoakyhop.
