Hi folks,

I have been brewing 3 gallon extract batches in a 5 gallon brewpot, and I dont think it will be big enough for BIAB, so ive been looking at some other ideas with small-batch beers.

For those of you who ferment in Carlos Rossi bottles (4L), that is cutting it darn close to one gallon (about 1 gallon and 6 ounces). Are you having issues with headspace? Or are you just scaling your recipes back a bit (.95 gallons for example).

I've been doing 2.5 gallon batches biab in a 5 gal pot and fermenting in mr beer kegs. The setup works very well for me.

If you are worried about "squeezing" things in the bottles go to Home Depot and buy a 2 gallon paint bucket. I can put 1.9 g in and rarely ever have a problem w/blow off in my air lock. Gvies me 3 six packs.
