You don't need to adjust the pressure inside the keg. The gas will contract as it chills and will "adjust" itself. Think of it like this - take a balloon and fill it up with CO2 (yes, you can actually try this) at room temp. Then put that balloon in the refrigerator. After it chills, it will look flat. Take it out and it blows itself back up :)
