I'm planning to do a series of one-gallon test batches. Mostly inspired by the Speed Brewing book I just finished reading: https://www.amazon.com/Speed-Brewing-Techniques-Recipes-Fast-Fermenting/dp/0760347379

Is there a carbonation cap that fits a 1-gallon plastic bottle, like this one? https://www.target.com/p/hawaiian-p...RW5IQHCNiugPUuglzBxoC9ZsQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

(don't worry, I plan to dump the Hawaiian Punch down the gutter instead of drinking it)

I have a full kegging system in my basement fridge with 5-gallon corny's but I want something smaller for experimental test batches.

The idea would be to ferment and force carb in the same 1-gallon plastic container. These are mostly non-beers (cider, meads, kombucha blends) so I'm not worried about leaving headspace for the krausen. I may even play with a spunding valve to naturally carbonate some batches.

Most of the carbonation caps fit on a 2-liter soda bottle, but is there one that gives me a ball lock gas disconnect fitting on a 1-gallon juice cap? Or could I make one by drilling out the cap and attaching a two-piece disconnect?
