can't figure out how to take apart co2 regulator completely

got beer inot the regulator and now the regulator isnt working, tryign to clean it out


if you click on replacement parts

i got the piston part out from part #8 but all the parts under it i cant figure out how to remove

do i need a special screw driver with a slit cut out?

Depending on how tightly it's screwed down, you can use a small pair of needle nose to unscrew the grooved nut. Put the tips of the pliers in the grooves and turn gently.
