EDIT: I couldn't get my Blichmann to drain. After it wouldn't drain past the top of the drain fitting/dip tube connection, I took it apart to see what I could see. When I put it back together, the dip tube wasn't seated correctly in the drain fitting, so it didn't drain again. I took it apart once more and tried again, but that time I forgot to put the hose from the drain valve back on, so it wasn't able to draw a siphon. I am now pissed at myself, and not Blichmann.

I'll leave this edit up in case it helps someone who has similar problems the first time with their Blichmann. If mods feel its best deleted, that's their call.

I always keep a racking cane close by with a chore boy ss scrubie on the end just for such occasions.
