This is a much happier thread than I expected, I thought it was going to be about a literal explosion.
 
Gulp! Yeah, ^that^ was what I was thinking as well.

As for canning bringing down the price of beer - craft or otherwise: Ahahahahahahahahaha! Riiiiiight...

Most of the local breweries to me are hopping on the canning thing. Most of them are using a "mobile canning line" and not actually investing in a canning line themselves. Kind of a neat process to watch, definitely seems to make it easier for smaller breweries to get their stuff distributed early on in their game.
 
Maybe canning bandwagon woulda been more clear... Although I do wonder if a home brewer crimping machine will be developed... That would be cool and more convenient than kegs or bottles for traveling such as RV trips.
