OK so long story short I attempted to cold crash a double IPA (8% abv) but partially froze it in error - temp dropped down to about 14 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 degrees C).

I intend to allow the beer to thaw out naturally and completely before packaging.

Can the beer still be bottle carbonated or will I need to add new yeast?

Also, any ideas on how this will effect the beer in terms of flavour / quality / stability etc?

Many thanks

if it partially froze there is a good chance you will still have enough viable yeast to carb the bottles. If the whole thing froze id probably add some yeast. Just my 2 cents though.

I know people make eis beer and bottle carb, so it should work. Also, every place that has a freezing winter still has wild yeast, so they must be built to survive it.
